Douro Suites - Ribadouro

The Lakehouse Suite was fine, right on the water with awesome views. Super peaceful ambiance without any nearby crowds. Fair warning though, restaurants are a bit of a drive away, but it adds to the charm!

I had an amazing two nights at this beautiful spot! The view over the river was fabulous, and sitting on the balcony with a gin and tonic was holiday perfection. The room was spacious and comfy, and the shower was really good. Breakfast was lovely too.

I really appreciated the amazing views of the Douro Valley and the unique boutique vibe. The serene ambiance was perfect for enjoying quiet moments after exploring nearby attractions like the fine Chapel of Our Lady of Deliverance of Fandinhaes, just a short drive away.

This boutique hotel is an absolute gem! I stayed in the Lakehouse Suite with fine views right on the water. The peaceful ambiance was a highlight, as there were no nearby crowds. The staff offered really good service, ensuring all my needs were met. The design of the hotel is beautiful, although the interior decor leans towards the kitschy side. Breakfast featured a great selection and was delicious. I found the lack of nearby dining options a bit of a drawback. It required a drive to reach good restaurants. While I appreciated the picnic basket option for dinner, more variety would enhance the experience. It's a wonderful spot for those seeking tranquility and beautiful nature, but be prepared for some driving for dining options.

The people here are just the sweetest, y'all! Carla and the gang treated us like family, always ready to lend a hand. We lounged by that heated pool, and bless your heart, the view from our terrace was jaw-droppin'. Just wish we could've explored more without our own wheels, but that ain't no dealbreaker for this gem!

The spacious Family Studio was perfect for us and our pet dog. We enjoyed a lovely day exploring Caldas de Aregos Thermal Baths, which are a must-see for any family with a sense of adventure.

My kids wished there were more activities for them.

The room was just amazing! We had a beautiful terrace with fine views of the Douro Valley. The bed was super comfy, and everything felt clean and modern. I loved how spacious it was. The shower was especially great-good water pressure! Breakfast on the terrace was the cherry on top. Just wish there was better, but that didn't take away from the overall vibe.

The rooms were fantastic, and the service was great. The staff helped us organize a wine tour that was lovely! The picturesque views, relaxing atmosphere, and great breakfast.

It's worth noting that you have to drive a bit to find good restaurants or attractions. The winding roads can be tiring, especially after a long day of exploring.

Free Wi-Fi in rooms was great. Indoor pool too small for swimming.
